Gastroenterology
On the basis of the gastroenterology department of the hadassah clinic, the National Diagnostic Center for early diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, the Center for Children’s ERCP, as well as the Consultative Center for Dietetics operate.
Hadassah Clinic specializes in the following types of gastroenterological diagnostics:

The staff of the Department of Gastroenterology of Hadassah Medical Center consists of world-renowned doctors who work closely with leading medical institutions around the world.
there is polyclinic where diagnostics and treatment of diseases are carried out. In the clinic, outpatient operations are performed to remove stones and drain the biliary tract by ERCPG. Conservative treatment of disease of the rectum and pelvic floor is also carried out.
Laboratory of Liver Pathology
The loboratory offers treatment of patients with acute and chronic liver diseases. Approximately 5,000 patients are monitored annually by specialists of the laboratory. Expert teams consists of eleven doctors, three clinical nurses and two nurses-speacialists in clinical research.
Over the past 20 years, four employees of the laboratory have received the prestigious american liver foundation ALF award for the best scientific work. the four employees were presented at the annual meeting of AASLD. Various organizations have recognized as outstanding number of research works carried out by our specialists over the pas decade.
